Born and bred in Christchurch, I started my career in the NZ Army. Ambitious and driven, I ended a long, successful instructional army career to transfer my motivational and training skills into the business sector. The transition from the Army to commission-only sales was rocky to say the least with some very challenging times including great personal loss. However I refused to quit despite the circumstances and courageously chose to "Live A Life of my Dreams”.
Starting Life NZ as a business coach after a simple request from a business owner in need of some professional advice regarding a crucial staff issue over ten years ago. From these humble beginnings, I have gone on to work with hundreds of businesses from all industries throughout New Zealand, helping them by speaking, training and coaching bringing clarity, giving them focus and courage to take the next necessary steps required to achieve successful outcomes. |
How? Simply by listening and responding to my clients’ needs in a practical, cost effective, and easy-to-implement manner.
My passion is helping businesses grow and prosper through the various stages of business from start-up and growth, to stabilisation and succession regardless of being a one man band business, hiring up to 50 staff or being a national franchise with multiply franchisees. In addition to being a Business Speaker, Business Trainer and Business Coach, I have developed a range of structured Leadership skills programmes. I have been very active in contributing to the Hawke’s Bay community by Volunting my skills, time and money to Supporting Certified Builders as secretary for 2 years, being a key sponsor of the Carters Cranford House Challenge raising over $250,000 for Cranford Hospice, leading and support local youth organisations, and more recently starting a Hawke’s Bay Business group all with a view to connect, equip and empower people to reach their full potential.
